when running the motor in star cnnection it will take high
current.but it running in delta it will take low
current.why P=TW .P=power,T=torque,W=anguler velosity

because instart for motor, we need high current ,for that
purpose we use delta instead of star. Another reason is
that delta connection control the harmonics and increas the
motor life, also we can use star but by using star the
efficency of moter will decrease.

The most of HT motor are in star conection and some of
slipring motor are also in star conection.
