what r the main parts of central chiller plant in Air conditioner ? explain the function of each?..

Answer / nani

The main parts of Centralized chiller Plant is Compressor,
Condenser,and Eveporator.
1)Compressor: To say in singel word it just converts the
Refrigerant from Low pressure to High Pressure.
2)Condenser: It is the device which converts the gas from
HP vapour to HP liquid by using Air or Water media.
3)Eveporator: In eveaporator it takes latent heat from the
surroundings and convert the gas from Liquid state to
vapour state in Low pressure.

what r the main parts of central chiller plant in Air conditioner ? explain the function of each?..

Answer / amit sonmale

In Ac Chiller Plant(Central Plant)
There Are Two Types Of Chillers 1 Air Cooled 2 water Cooled
And MAin Parts In Plant Is That 1 Evaperatore 2 Condencer 3
Compressore 4 Expansion Device(Throutling Valve)
The Work Of Evaperatore Is Obsorving The temp Of
Surrounding Water In Shell. After This Procisure Liquid
State Refrigerant Will Convert In GAs State. And This GAs
SAte (LP LT) Refrigerant Will goes To The Compressore In
Compressore Icreas The Temp And Pressure Of Refrigerant
Gas And Gas Will Changed In HP HT.This HP HT Gas Will Goes
To The Condenser In The Condenser This HP HT GAs Condence
By Ordinarry Air Or Water After The Condencession, The Gas
Convert In To HP HT Liquid State. And An Expansion Valve
Reduce The Pressure And Temp.Of This HP HT Liquid LIquid
Will Convert Into LP LT Liquid.finally This LP LT Liquid
Will Goes To An Evaperatore.

what r the main parts of central chiller plant in Air conditioner ? explain the function of each?..

Answer / sharath chandra

In an A/C chiller plant (central plant) there are two types
of chillers
1. Air cooled
2. Water cooled
Main Parts of the A/c chiller connected in to building
1. Primary Pumps
2. Secondary pumps
3. Variable speed drive
4. Variable frequency drive
5. AHU (AIR Handling Units)
6. CMU (Ceiling Mounted Units )
7. Fresh air Units
8. Differential Pressure Switch (DP)
9. Inlet and outlet water Pipes
10. Pressure Gauges
11. Air Vents

Main parts in a chiller are
1. Evaporator
2. Condenser
3. Compressor
4. Expansion device (throttling valve)

The work of evaporator is observing the temp of surrounding
water in shell. After this procedure liquid state
refrigerant will convert in gas state. And this gas state
(Low pressure low temperature) refrigerant will goes to the
compressor in compressor increase the temp and pressure of
refrigerant gas and gas will changed in High pressure High
Temperature .this High pressure High Temperature gas will
goes to the condenser in the condenser this High pressure
High Temperature gas condense by ordinary air or water after
the condescension, the gas convert in to High pressure High
Temperature liquid state. And an expansion valve reduce the
pressure and temp of this High pressure High Temperature
liquid will convert into Low pressure low temperature
liquid. Finally this Low pressure low temperature liquid
will goes to an evaporator.

what r the main parts of central chiller plant in Air conditioner ? explain the function of each?..

Answer / giri

If to say briefly, it has compressor for compressing the
freon, then comes condenser coils for the freon to get
cooled, then freon passes to the evaporator coils where it
absorbs the heat in the room air.then it's circulated back
to the compressor cycle continuous.chilled water is used in
the condenser to cool the freon.

what r the main parts of central chiller plant in Air conditioner ? explain the function of each?..

Answer / maros szeki

The main components of a central chiller plant: chillers
and/or absorbers (components for some of these machines
described above), pumps (chilled water and condenser water
for the machines in the plant, and main chilled water pumps
that circulate the water to the campus/satellite buildings
served by the plant) heat source generator for the
absorbers is used (direct fired boiler, solar, steam and/
or high temp hot water. Main control room. It is common
that heat is supplied from the central plant as well.
