the difference between the electroic and ordinary regulator
is that in electronic reg. power losses are less i.e. for
as we decrese the speed the electronic reg. give the power
needed for that perticular speed but in case of ordinary rh
type reg. the power wastage is same for every speed and no
power is saved

in electronic regulator triac is employed for speed cntrl.
by varying the firing angle spreed is cntrled but in
rheostatic ctrl resistance is decreased by steps to achieve
speed cntrl

in electronic regulators diac or triac is used. These
devices conducts only some firing angle that means we are
utilizing only a part of the sine wave, not completely.
In rheostatic control total sine wave using ,here energy
wasting

The reason why the sending end and receiving end voltage sare almost equal when capacitive load is added.
if power factor comes in leading & showing -0.95. Is there any effect on electrical system? if yes, then please tell me what would be the effects. & how long we keep power factor in leading. Keeping power factor in leading shows more KW & less KVA is it correct or not.
