safety is on of the main factors in idustries. If a
conductor is used to carry power, on the other hand
appropriate insulator should be used to insulate the
conductor to avoid shocks. from preventive point of view,
insulators are given first preference than conductors.

its a reliability thing.. designing an electrical
instrument is important but the same time making that
instrument reliable for long life is much more
important..in this way insulators are concentrated

Selection of Insulation of conductor is depend on
Safety ,reliability,location where it is used.So electrical
engineer give more priority to the insulator then a
conductor
