What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / srizdhar

Volt between netural and erath should be zore as per electrical law,but in site or aney applecation it should belwo 130 micro volts, why means erathings stays rooting parrlally to power cables.

What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / k s yadav

Regarding Q11, whenever get more voltage across neutral and
earth that will imbalance the phase voltage with respect to
neutral as well as phase also cause conneted load or
sensitive devices might be got faulty or do the wrong
operation as per induction theory. Therefore earth leakage
voltage should be zero in ideal condition but in practicle
should be maintained less than 1 voltage in organisation.

What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / raz

1- Voltage between phase & earth less then 3V.
2- Voltage between phase & neutral is 230v.

What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / rajasekaran.raman

What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / abdul gafar

most of the 3-phase stepdown distribution transformers
manufactured in india are 11KV/433v. assuming that the the
voltages are measured at LT Side of the transformer and
earthing is perfect ( i.e. when meggered with 500v megger
the resistance offered by the earth is zero)then,

earth to neutral= Zero
any one Phase to earth= 250V
& any one Phase to neutral=250

(the value 250 is arrived from the fact that the voltage
from phase to Phase is equal to 1.732 times that of the
voltage between phase to neutral)

What is min and max voltage between earth and neutral/phase if it perfect earthing?..

Answer / john

Phase to earth should be 0 volt. But up to 6 Volts
permisssable.
