Suppose there are two vessels. One of diameter = D and
other vessel dia = d. Suppose in vessel with dia D, water
is filled upto height H and vessel with dia d is empty. Now
both vessels are connected.Water will flow from D dia vesel
to small d dia vessel.Suppose after equilibrium height of
water in vessel with dia D is h. How much is h in terms of
D, d,H etc?

Suppose there are two vessels. One of diameter = D and other vessel dia = d. Suppose in vessel wi..

Answer / shivaray

After connecting each other in both vessels volumes are
remane same.
After equilibrium height for dia D is 'h' that means volume
is v1=Pi/4 *D^2*h
After equilibrium height for dia d is 'H-h' that means
volume is v2=Pi/4 *d^2*(H-h)

v1=v2

i.e D^2*h=d^2*(H-h)

(D^2+d^2)*h=d^2*H

so ans is h= d^2*H/(d^2+D^2)

I am requesting to Mr.Banke Bihari & Mr.Jikku Joseph to
make a comment on this answer.Bcz their ans is not correct

PRESSURE IS SAME
SO
h=D^3/d^3 x H2

Answer / shuhaib

According to question the level difference is not mentioned
so according to me the concept of height differenceas (H-h)
is not suggested.
at equilibrium h=H/2

Answer / vivek

h = H/2
as both the vesels are connected water will be at the same
level having no effect of diamt or shape...

Hai, iam renjith. my qtn about the calorex heat and cool pump. What is the reason of the above machine is trip on high pressure. r134a gas using in this system. 8 months old. model is calorex propac 90(3 phase). This system has 2 compressor. Both are starting on 13amps after that rise up to around 21 within 1 minute. After will be trip on high pressure. Showing 68 psi in suction side on standby mode. Can i have a solution without delay?
