I am a instrument technician. recently i attend interview and face one of question for DP transmitter ,the client asking about the calibration of DP transmitter ,am answer the calibration procedure, they will ask one more question. why open LP side in atmosphere? i did not answer that question. so please help me and explain the particular question. Dear firends waiting for your valuable replay

Calibration coefficient we titration differential pressure device through the injection amount of pressure in the high side and at the same time the low side open to atmospheric pressure, because pressure air fixed and unchanging and the device works on the difference between Aldgate if the equation realized there atmospheric pressure fixed and your controlled pressure from here the differential pressure is measured

We Have Two Field bus Pressure Transmitters of Different Sensor Range (I.E One is of Lower range and Another is of Higher Range). Is same Process Line. My Question is Can i provide Saturation Limit to my field Bus Transmitter as We can provide Saturation current limit to HART Instruments. As During Low Pressure Both Working OK ,But During High Pressure, transmitter with Lower sensor range Goes to Fault mode as Beyond its Sensor Limit it can Measure, So may I provide Saturation point Some where to Suppress This Fault during High Pressure.
