We use ACB in LT and VCB in HT.But if we use VCB in LT and
ACB in HT that what will be the effect on the system or any
power range?

VCB is designed for HT it has vaccum chamber that prevents arcing and it triping speed is higher
ACB is desined for LT the terminals are almost open to atmospere it can cause flashing if we use it on HT

HT Line Means 6.6KV,11KV and 33KV. LT Line means 415V. So
the ACB are Manufacutered for LT side because , based on
shortcircuit KA busbar terminal are designed in ACB . In HT
line while switching On & OFF ARC will be more it will not
withstand in ACB . IF we use VCB in LT side , the VCB will
not helpfull at fault condition, because its upstream
breaker will trip or component will damage

if you use a VCB in low tension it odes not make problems
but if a ACB or Air Circuit Breakers in HT you will see a
lot of ligthning and probably fire in the breaker
So it is no convenient to use a ACB on HT

As per Karna ACB is not usfull in HT because of its limited
capacity but in casw of VCB apply in LT it can dafinatly
helping out after making its ragular reliese setting and
tripping in foulty condition is depend on relay... so VCB
we can use but drow back is VCB in LT system it is more
expancive then ACB thats it...
