Grid failure occurs due to grid disturbance. The grid
disturbance means tripping of one or more grid element like
transmission line, transformer, static var compensator etc
resulting in total failure of power supply at the substation
or loss of integrity of the grid at the transmission level
of 220kv and above.

suppose if oil in transformer is not used than what constructional change you will do,for insulation and cooling?
