Why we are using sqare root in flow?..

Answer / jeyaram

when we are using Differential Pressure.(diff. betw upstream
pr.& downstream pr.) for flow calculation , we have to apply
the formula ie..Flow is directly proportional to the square
root of Diff.Pr.

Why we are using sqare root in flow?..

Answer / kishor deshmukh

actually the formula to calculate is expressed in terms of
the square root of change in the diffrencial pressure of the
flow at the upstream and downstream side of the dp cell so
we need to use the square root extractor.

Why we are using sqare root in flow?..

Answer / bala murali

By using DP txr for Calculation of Flow we are enable squre
root in Txr.
This is bcoz the flow is directly proportional to square
root of Diff. pressure b/w HP and LP.

Why we are using sqare root in flow?..

Answer / waqas abbasi ( ffbl )

Flow various directly as square root of different pressure
F=K square root of AP. since the flow various as the square
root of differential pressure the pin does not directly
indicate flow.flow can be determined by talking the square
root of the pin.so the pin read of the 50% chart.
