What is the winding resistsnce need to be in a 1000kva,
11kv/415v transformer, between ht winding to lt winding, ht
winding to earth, lt winding to earth.?
Answer / k.prakashchandra
You mean insulation resistance ?As a rough guide, the megger
value should be at least 2 M ohm per KV rating at 60'C for
11 KV and above. The megger value doubles itself for every
10'C fall in temp.
