Answer / sourav sanyal
unit weight of concrete = 1440kg/cubic meter
therefore unit weight is equal to weight over volume
given the unit weight already;
1440kg/cu.m = W/V
given also the weight of cement which is 50kg
so. cross multiply and we get
v= W/unit weight = 50/1440
and the answer is = 0.0347222 cu.m.
and 1 cu.m.=35.31 c.ft.
then .0347*35.31=1.225c.ft.

1440kg (28.80bags)=1cu.m ; 1cu.m=35.3147cu.ft
so1440kg (28.80bags)=35.3147cu.ft
50kg (1bag)=(35.3147*50)/1440
50kg (1bag)=1.2262cu.ft

Answer / anil k gadroo
1 cu m area will contain 1.2 MT of Cement (1.2 being BD)
So it means 1.2 MT of Cement =1 cum
i.e 1200 Kg of Cement = 1 cum
So 50 Kg (ie 1 bag of Cement)=(1/1200)*50=0.042cu m
Hence 1 bag= 0.042 cu m of Cement=0.137cu ft of Cement
