PI value is the ratio of insulation resistance at 10
minutes to the 1 minute value...
PI = IR(10 min) / IR (1 min)
For good insulation, PI >= 2
PI more than 1.5 is acceptable...
PI less than <1 indicates Bad insulation

I want to know that a 160kva diesel generator contains capacity of 160kva on each phase like R=160 Y=160 B=160 total RYB=480kva or it is total capacity of all there phases like RYB=160kva ... thanks in advance ...
