how electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy in dc motor..

Answer / ilaya

DC supply is given in to dc motor.it produce two flux.
1. field flux
2. armature flux
this two flux are interact each other.so torque produce in
armature . that torque is mechanical torque(mechannical
energy).

how electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy in dc motor..

Answer / saravanan.p

In DC motor, The stator and rotor are calles as the
armature and field.

The armature is a rotation part and field is a coil (like
inductive coil).

If we are giving DC to field coil, The coil act as a
temporary magnet. The magnetic field passed to the armature
winding through induction. The flex difference between
armature and field will stimulate the armature to rotate.

This is the way the electrical energy converted into
mechanical energy in DC motor.
