dc supply given to the x'mer , there is no flux produced
into the transformer due to the absence of frequency ,
cause will be damaged of insulation of x'mer and its get
overheated

not be any secondary emf hence tranformer will work like a
load itself & due to overheating it will burn.

When DC is supplied to a transformer the windings in the transformer will make it a electro magnet. There will be no
effect on the secondary but when the supply is interrupted a
voltage will be induced in the secondary.

what will happen if one of the phases from a 3-phase motor is disconnected?? stop/run at 2/3rd speed or run at same speed????
