This is one of the fire fighting system.Now a days in
software companies FM 200 was used in Data centers and
server rooms.

In case any fire occoured in there with in seconds(as per
requirements)FM 200 Gas cylenders volves opened and
quenches the arc.

I think this is the best method.Best its very costly.

earth only na.
I think there is no difference b/w them.But we are using

UV= Under voltage Coil and this also one type of relay.

In breakars it will sence and give comond to breakar.
I think if the voltage is less than +/-440V or rated
voltage passing through the breakar it will sence.

Mr.Ravikanth as per my knowledgeall the relays will sence
the foult and give comond to breakar for operation.

I think
AVR = Automatic Voltage Regulator
Regulator Means it will controls the unit.So If AVR fails
in DG set we con't get constent continiues o/p voltage. Any
comments ?

If u dont know the AH of the battery and u want to check
the name plate detail i think following procedure is
correct.

Connect some load up to batter get dry.and found.
How many Amps(A) load u hav given and how much time it
carried (In Hrs).
A*H=AH of the battery

Normoly in HT side 11kv voltsge and less current will be
there But in LT side voltage will be less and current was
very high.So if we change tappings in LT side a huge spork
will come.to avoid this OLTC has to be fixed in HT side
only.

P = No of poles
Means If no poles increased Power generated will decreased
