VCB is vaccum circuit breaker which is used in HT lines.
MCCB is mould case circuit breaker which is used in LT lines
upto 1000V

I think the vcb's are used for HT
lines(above 33kv) and mcb's &
mccb's are used on LT lines upto
33kv.
