Transformers 1 KVA and larger, rated at 60 Hz, should not be
used on 50 Hz service
due to higher losses and resultant heat rise. However, any
50 Hz transformer will
operate on 60 Hz service.
A 60 Hz design is physically smaller than a 50 Hz design. DO
NOT use 60 Hz rated
transformers on 50 Hz service. Without special designs,
higher losses and greater heat
rise will result. Operating 60 Hz transformers at higher
frequencies may simply provide
less voltage regulation.

is it possible to flow a current between nutral and earth in a circuit? although nutral and earth having same potential diffrence? i=0/r=0A if any body now any solid reason because i am getting a triping problem in rcbo due to nutral and earth shorting???

I have two AC generators, the first rated 2680KVA for 380V/4345A/pf:0.7 and the second rated 3461KVA for 5500V/363A/pf:0.8. I want to parallel the two generator to a bus. The second generator passes through a transformer to down the voltage to 380V and a part of its power goes to another bus so that it's only a part of the total power of the second generator taht goes to the considered bus. I have two Basler DECS100 AVR regulator. How can I make the synchronization ? What others equipments must have ?
