rankine cycle is used in thermal power plant(steam)
but in gas power plants brayton cycle is used
process involved in both are same
ie const pressure heat add and rejection
alongwith isentropic exp and comp
but complicasy arises in rankine cycle due to use of steam
as it exist in diffrent states(liq, vapour)

brayton cycle in us & other forign country.
