ETL means extraction,transformation and loading.i.e
extracting the data from different data bases and
transforming it depending on our requirements then finally
load it into warehouse.

from various sources like flat files, databases or XML
data, Performing transformations (manipulations on the data)
based on the user requirements and loading them to the
Target location.
