Hetrodynig is action to get IF (intermediate frequancy.
when RF and frequancy genreated by Local osscilator mixed
in mixer then mixer produce IF.And phenomena called beat
frequancy.

hetrodyning is an action to convert high frequency(RF) to
required low frequency(Intermediate frequecy).when RF and
frequancy generated by Local oscillator mixed
in mixer then mixer produce IF.while locally generated freq
must be equal to the addition of RF and required
intermediate frequency (RF+IF).
