Answer / joy
this makes low resistance path for current flow.so that
when a heavy current accur due to lightining or etc etc..
the current chooses the low resistance path to flow..so
that the home appliances will not get affected.. even human
too...:)

Current always choose low resistance path. when we r connect
all electrical equipment with earth it will provide zero
resistance path.So if any fault current occur it will bypass
through the low resist path.

We are used all electrical equipments with earthing.incase
the equipment go to fault condition that time current flow
to the low resistance part. we concider the equipment body
is low resistance part so current flow to the equipment
body that time we tuch the body.the human is the concider
of neutral body is phase then phase& neutral to be short
then fuse go to burn out then human is safty from the shock

I'm generating a pulse of 3V with frequency 80Hz (12.5ms time period) and pulse duration 0.125ms and feeding it to a transformer since i want the pulse to get amplified around 60V. At the output amplification s happening but the pulse is changed to a spike, can you tell me what could be the reason? (an ordinary transformer 220V-12V stepdown transformer is reverse connected ie. now it is 12V-220V stepup and voltage amplification happens)
