----------------Describe DWH Architecture?
Answer / Shruti Sharma
Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture is a strategic design pattern for building an enterprise data warehouse. It consists of four layers: Source System, Staging Area, Data Integration Services, and Data Access Services.n
1. Source System: This layer includes various operational databases and external files that serve as the source of raw data. These systems generate transactional data in their day-to-day activities.n
2. Staging Area: The staging area is responsible for preparing the raw data from the source system for analysis by the end users. It acts as a buffer between the source systems and the data warehouse, where the data undergoes cleaning, transformation, and integration.n
3. Data Integration Services: This layer contains the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that move data from the staging area to the data warehouse.n
4. Data Access Services: The final layer of the DWH architecture is responsible for providing a platform for end users to access and analyze the integrated data. It includes OLAP cubes, SQL-based reporting, and other tools.
