In this case we can perform exploratory testing.There is
one more option before commencing actual testing we can
consider application as specifiaction & use it. we can take
out notes regarding different functions in application.How
it should work? Now we can refer this document as
substitute for specification.

We can use Release Notes (given with the
application/product) as a base document. Whatever
requirement you have, you can confirm it in mail from
Onsite cordinator/Client in written. If there is any
information missing then they can write on mails. You can
also go for Exploratory Testing.
