For household Load of 11Kw supplying 5Nos. 1.5 ton Air conditioners + usual other load what shall be rating of Either ELCB Or ELMCB? Which of the circuit breaker will be a better choice?

why we not connect the 12 V batteries in parallel to get the more backup supply for an UPS ? wheter off line or on line UPS ?

why battery dc voltage become Half when we check with respect to ground for example 120volts + and - terminals and when we check + terminal with Earth thats 60volts why 60volts we can not ground the battery.
