There are about 2000-2200 posts in the scheme A of CGL-08
and the final result will be announced by the end of 2010.

It has been informed by the SSC Chief on SSC website that
the total vacancies will be around 5000 & mostly of scheme
B. So I guess that atleast 75% vacancies i.e. 3800 approx.
will be of scheme B & 1200 from scheme A. What do you think

Those who are going to appear or have appeared the
interview of CGLE-08 are requsted to please share their
ideas. The new scheme of CGLE-10 is also available on the
website of SSC headquarter.

Thanks Sonu for the information. There is no cut-off marks
in the interview. I know certain friends who were selected
as Excise Inspectors last year although they secured 31 &
33 marks in Interview. So need not to worry. All the best
