ff has a clock signal and latches don't have a clock signal
and latches are asynchronous (output changes with input)
while ff are synchronous(o/p with clock)

in latch when all inputs are given high then there is
problem of toogle or invalid state and to overcome this
problem flip flops are used (continue ... punit's ans)

Both flip flop & latches are sequential devices.flip flops
are used instead of lathes in computers bcoz ff is a edge
triggered it gives correct output n latch is a level
triggered it gives intermittent output.also latch is one
bit storing device.ff is a bi state element
ff are used in counters,shift registers, adders/subtractors.
latches are used in switch debouncer...
