If u add add-ins then we
can establish the connection
between TD and QTP

Test Director:
1. Doesnot support fomatting and hence the test cases need
to be saved in the plain text

compare to QC,yes as in above answes we can't connect QC.
for writing requirements in TD is little bit difficult..
because in QC,it gives one input box..,using that we can
easily write things...

Write test cases execute test cases send bug report or
defect report with status pass or fail execute test cases
manually and automatically .Test cases r stored in test
director so we check these test caese after long period of
time means one month,year etc.

I think TD wont support QTP for automation excecution
