Dirty Earth is a connection between all the AC elctrical
Earth and Clean Earth is an earth which is used for DC
power. Both of this two earth will eventually conect
together at the service point where it is going to go to
the earth Net or wells. The difference is that they do not
want to mix this two earth together till the end point and
the reason is to avoid any earth loop between diferent
devices or earth at the plant.

Basically earthing is of two types treated and untreated. In
case of untreated the electrode is not provided with any
external charcoal water mixture it is also called as dirty
earth.Where as in case of treated we provide water charcoal
powder mixture externally and in that case it is called
clean earth.Resistivity of treated electrode is lesser than
untreated one.so for equipment and safety earthing we go
for treated electrode.
