How to reduce cell clumping for immunocytostaining?

How to reduce cell clumping for immunocytostaining?..

Answer / Manoj Kalyani

Cell clumping during immunocytostaining can be reduced by using trypsin or other enzymes to dissociate the cells into single cells before plating. Alternatively, ACK lysis buffer can be used to lyse red blood cells and decrease cell aggregation. Additionally, adjusting the concentration of FBS in the medium can also help reduce clumping.
