Define amplitude modulation?
Answer / Km Neeshu Chahal
Amplitude Modulation (AM) is a modulation technique used in communication systems to transmit information by varying the amplitude of a high-frequency carrier wave according to an input signal. The resulting waveform retains the same frequency as the carrier but exhibits changes in amplitude that correspond to the modulating signal. AM is widely used in radio broadcasting and is characterized by its ability to provide good audio quality but with relatively lower bandwidth efficiency compared to other modulation techniques such as frequency modulation (FM).
