what are the difference between dcs & plc & scada?
Answer / Sumit Yadav
DCS (Distributed Control System), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) are all used in process control systems but have different focuses. DCS is a large-scale system that controls multiple processes through distributed, interconnected controllers. PLCs are versatile, compact devices for controlling specific machines or parts of processes. SCADA systems, on the other hand, monitor and control larger industrial processes remotely.
