Snooping cache is a cache sharing mechanism used in multiprocessor systems or multi-core processors. It allows multiple caches to cooperate and share information, thus reducing the chances of data inconsistencies due to simultaneous accesses. Snooping cache monitors bus traffic and updates its own contents accordingly.
