Can Someone tell me scenario in testing having low severity
and high priority and vice versa

Severity: defines the importance of defect w.r.t.
functional point of view.
Priority: defines the importance of defect w.r.t. customer
point of view. i.e. how soon it should be fixed.
Just look into the following example:
In a login window, the company Logo is missed. Functional
point of view it is a Low sererity. But client point of
view it is high priority.

Low seviourity,High priority:If there is a spelling mistake
in the site name in the home page of a company website then
it is considered as high priority because that will lead to
bad reputation of the company.it can be considered as low
priority because it is not effecting the basic
functionality of the site.
High seviourity,Low priority:If a site is designed to
provide 1000 mail id's and if those slots have been
registered within first 2 days of the creation of the site
then it will be of use less for the people other then those
first 1000.So this can be considered as High seviourity. It
has low priority because the site is as per its design.

The usability test cases hav the low severity i.e,they
donot stop the testing to continue further but they are
highly prioritised becoz they affect the look and feel of
the application which in turn causes end user or customer
dissatisfaction and the main purpose of testing is to avoid
this.
