Drill-through reports allow you to explore detailed records of a specific row or record in a report. It takes you to another report with more granular data. Master-detail reports, on the other hand, show a summary level (master) and the details (detail) for each summary level within the same report. Master-Detail reports enable you to navigate through the hierarchy without leaving the original report.
