Explain capacitance, inductance, resistance.
Answer / Pradeep Kumar Srivastav
Capacitance (C) is a measure of the ability of a device to store electrical energy in an electric field. It is defined as the amount of charge (in coulombs) that must be applied to a capacitor to produce a voltage of 1 volt across its plates when no current is flowing. Inductance (L) is a measure of the tendency of a circuit element to oppose changes in current flow. It is measured in henries and is defined as the ratio of the magnetic flux linking a closed loop to the current flowing through it. Resistance (R) is a measure of the opposition to the flow of electric current in an electrical conductor or circuit element. It is measured in ohms and is defined as the voltage divided by the current (V=IR).
