When testing an earthing connection, we use a 60 or 100 candle bulb with a phase connected direct from supply and the other wire to the new earthing provided.If the bulb glows then the earth is ok.Else earth connection is not Ok. So, why dont we can use all the home appliances taking a single wire from the phase and the return connection to Earth instead of return connection to neutral?

To determine the Healthiness of Insulation we will be performing Dielectric tests i.e Insulation Resistance test, Partial Discharge test,Switching Impulse, Lightning impulse, Tan Delta test ...etc why we required to perform this many test, why cant we do only one test. for Transformer, CT's

We have .ht motor which is 60Hz.we run on 50Hz.so that it's speed reduce but we had one prob.that motor winding temp increase up to 135 deg.we want reduce this temp.what to do?we arrange ext.cooling fan but not much effect.we want reduce this temp. Inhouse without affecting much.cost. also don't want reWINDING OF MOTOR?
