What is a comparator?
Answer / Vipin Kumar Gangwar
A comparator is an electronic circuit that compares two input voltages and produces an output indicating which of the inputs has a higher voltage level. It acts as a voltage comparator and has a high gain to amplify the small voltage differences between the inputs. Comparators are essential building blocks in many analog circuits, such as voltage threshold detectors, pulse generators, and Schmitt trigger circuits.

In the case of baseband signaling, the received waveforms are already in a pulse-like form. Why then, is a demodulator (receiving filter) needed to recover the pulse waveform?
As a water tank loses heat, the temperature drops by 2 K/min when a heater is on, the system gains temperature at 4 K/min. A two-position controller has a 0.5 min control lag and a neutral zone of ± 4% of the setpoint about a setpoint of 323 K. Plot the heater temperature versus time. Find the oscillation period
