How output frequency is varied in case of a thyristor?
Answer / Ravi Singh Rana
In case of a thyristor, the output frequency can be varied by controlling the firing angle (angle at which the thyristor is triggered) or by using pulse width modulation (PWM). By changing the firing angle, you can adjust the time during each half-cycle that the thyristor conducts. Using PWM, you can vary the duty cycle (on time/off time ratio) of the thyristor pulses to achieve different output frequencies.
