1. Mailbox Role: Stores mailboxes, public folders, and user data. 2. Client Access Role: Provides access to mailboxes via various clients (Outlook Web App, Outlook Anywhere, ActiveSync, etc.). 3. Hub Transport Role: Responsible for routing messages between Exchange servers and enforcing transport rules. 4. Edge Transport Role: Handles internet message flow, including antispam filtering.
