A report is taking few seconds to run.The same report is taking very long time on the next day without doing any kind of changes in the report. What could be the reason? how do you tune the report.

First make sure you,
1. Check for the Backend loads being run on the time of report execution.That might also impact the report execution time.
2. But in future to avoid this long run, you can check the SQL global optimization setting of VLDB properties.
