How i calculate Cement sand Quantities in 100 Sq.ft Plaster?

How i calculate Cement sand Quantities in 100 Sq.ft Plaster?..

Answer / soyeb badgujar

ITS VERY SIMPLE
first we calculated total volume of plaster mortar by
area x plaster cot ( thickness of plaster )
100 inch x 0.5 inch = 50 feet cube
than check ur ratio of plaster like ( 1 : 6 )
now cement required = 1/7 x 50 = 7.14 feet cube
so cement bag = 7.14/35.28 = 0.202 meter cube
now the number of bag requirement of cement is = 0.202/.035 =5.78 approximate 6 bag requred
