why capacitor offer reactance to alternating current?
Answer / prathamesh munj
actually in ac supply we are keeping current constant and variable quantity is voltage. capacitor has property of reacting towards the change in voltage. That's why capacitor stores charge when ac current pass through it and does not react for dc supply.Hence it shows reactance to ac supply.
