What is the filters function?..

Answer / priyadarsan.u.s

Have u seen your mother using filter in kitchen to remove
tea dust from tea? ...yeah the same is the task with
electronic filter(not to remove tea dust..ha..ha.).To remove
unwanted part from a mixture.Usually the raw signals we get
to process contain many unwanted frequencies (lets call it
as 'noise' for the time being)which need to be removed. For
this purpose we need a filter.Basically there are filters of
the following kind. a)lowpass(filters out higher freq signals)
b)highpass(filters out lower freq sigs)
c)bandpass(which filters out a mid band of freq
rejects both higher & lower freqs)
d)bandreject(name speaks for it)
Filters can also be classified as
a)Digital
b)Analog
on the basis of how they are implemented.

A code which had some declarations of some data items. There were a couple of normal data items(char,int..) and some pointers as well and a malloc call. You have to find the total memory taken up in the stack(Hint:Pointers and all are allocated in heap, not in stack, so dont count them). Also in most of these questions, they were specifying that the OS was 32 bit
