Issued to US investors to buy shares in foreign companies
without undertaking cross border transactions.These are
issued by US depositary bank.

If a foreign company wants to accesss the american market
in order to raise fund throug equity, the only instrument
that it can issue is ADR(i.e.American depositary receipt),
its like bundle of shares, may include 1 to 5 shares.
