As in a capacitor the voltage always lead the current, the
sum of sending end voltage(reference) added to a voltage of
capacitive line(which is leading) will always gives a
voltage higher than sending voltage. This is the effect
called FERRANTI EFFECT.

Why in earthing, the earthing plate is put in vertical position? and further what is soft coke that is used in earthing?
