As in a capacitor the voltage always lead the current, the
sum of sending end voltage(reference) added to a voltage of
capacitive line(which is leading) will always gives a
voltage higher than sending voltage. This is the effect
called FERRANTI EFFECT.

WAT IS MEANT BY COLD AND HOT START OF A MOTOR?? HOW DOES IT AFFECT A MOTOR'S PERFORMANCE??
