in ranking cycle why steam is condenset in condensor
Answer / venkata v.prasad.k
Because in rankine cycle , the steam is in vapour state in
turbine at the end of state of completion of process, then
it is not possible to pump the exhausted steam in the feed
pump which is connected before the boiler when you
considering in clockwise direction of cyle. That's why the
role and need of condenser to convert that steam phase into
liquid of about 45degree centrigrade of water after the
condenser process then that water will be enters into the
feed pump to feed that water into the boiler.
