Answer / joel soans
The procedure is to test it in compression testing machine or UTM, for 7 days ,14 days and 28days and if required for 45 days, when the previous results are not satisfactory.
Compression testing measures the amount of compression which can be resisted by the cube and can be read in dial gauge or digital meter of the machine...The crushing of concrete cube at the certain pressure or compression resembles its crushing strength or compressive strength in N/mmsq

to test the compresive strength of concrete, a copmreesive
test machines avaliable in the market. generally pressure
are devlop by hydraulic jack. A cube 22.5 x22.5 square cube
mould ara availabe. this mould will fille up by concrete
and immersed in water 24hrs.. after this cube are test at 7
days and 24 days mould. A pressure gauge is on testing
machines. the mould are keep under pressure and give
pressure when moulds are break. The moment of breaking
mould see the pressure delvop by machines. it is usally
expresse in kg.cmsq. you can convert it N/mmsq.
this is the funda if compressive strength testing machines.
