pls give me ans to ACT formula cube testing porpuse..

Answer / Yatendra Kumar Singh

The Autocorrelation Test (ACT) formula is used in cube testing for quality control of concrete cubes. The ACT helps determine if the strength variations within a set of cubes are random or systematic. Here's an overview of the process:
1. Break and clean the cubes.
2. Measure the compressive strength of each cube using a compression testing machine.
3. Calculate the mean strength (M), standard deviation (Sd), and coefficient of variation (Cv).
4. Calculate the autocorrelation coefficient (R) as follows: R = C(t) / Sd^2, where C(t) is the sample autocorrelation at time t.
5. Compare R with the critical value (usually 0.707) to determine if the variation in cube strength is significant or random.
