3 phase with neutral coming from alternator. alternator internal winding is star connection so star connection middle is connected to earth this is neutral earth so alternator output taken for 3 phase and N. Ans; alternator N

Actually in sustation xmer. Are grounded therfore the at neutral point there is o amp between them at measure when the mains fail there is also no neutral availible thaye time grounding is used as nutral for star connected as nutral point
